So why does it say the 3rd July then. I thought teaching finishes after the exams?
The assessment board will always be the final step of the academic year.
-sit exams/ submit CW
-mark assessed work
-Internal moderation (very very occasionally 2nd marker) and suggestions made
-External examiner moderation and suggestions made
-Assessment board meet, review results & suggestions and determine students final grades
the assessment board will always be a few weeks after exams finish as they need all results and feedback in order moderate it.
