My initial thought was that the attack came from Yemen, especially as the Houthis have been using one way suicide UAVs and missiles for some time, including an attempt at Abu Dhabi Airport last year so they clearly have a long range.
Iran may have done it but unless the US can produce credible evidence then I'm not convinced. That said, the IRGC have certainly provided the Houthis with SAMs, UAVs, and other lethal aid and it wouldn't surprise me if the IRGC also took part in the operation from Yemen but more likely in a supervisory role.

When did they give them SAM's sorry? I've heard of the Houthis using modified AA missiles in a SAM capability but no dedicated SAM systems. Or do you mean the MANPAD variety?

Iran has been providing the Houthis with modified SAMs and guidance systems, including the one that shot down the American MQ-9 over Yemen. The modified air to air IR missiles are pretty ineffective against MQ-9 style UAVs as they don't produce much heat.

America funds coups and terror in the name of oil.

Here is to be a reminder that the Americans supported the coup that brought the current Iranian regime into power.

In the face of this evidence, we cannot trust America's word against Iran.

But the same CIA had full “evidence” of WMDs in Iraq, which turned out to be false.

Lol, I did. But my point is that Pompeo might just be beating the drums of war and we cant be sure what is real or fake. I cynically think that the US hit the Saudi site and blamed Iran.

Given the USA’s track record of honesty when it goes looking for a casus belli, and that being a war president will hinder Trump in the upcoming election, I see no reason not to accept the US government’s account.

I live in Saudi Arabia, so here is a 'local opinion'.

Saudi Arabia and Iran are not the best pals (because Saudi Arabia is mainly Sunni Muslims and Iran is mainly Shiaa Muslims)

In Yemen: Houthi are the Shiaa side (which is supported by Iran) and the former government was Sunni (which is supported by KSA)

KSA is fighting Houthi (because they are fighting the original government which Sunni). Iran doesn't like that (because Iran is helping Houthi financially [citation needed]). Houthi responds with terrorist attacks here in KSA. But in the end, Houthi are just a bunch of militants. The Brain is Iran.

I know America is usually 'extremely' honest, but Pompeo got a point this time.

Thanks for the links
Although i remain fairly skeptical the Iranians have provided much more than light support to (as noted in the links) to the Yemenis. So far their approach has been one of poking the Saudis in the eye not one of creating mass disruption like this strike. Unless the dishonorable Pompeo can actually provide some evidence that Iran masterminded this plan im more inclined to take the Houthis at their word on this.

Edit: also, as a side note, might i ask where you usually go for your geopolitics analysis?
