Depends how you view your local election. Do you vote for the party writ large or the more local manifesto that person stands on?
Personally i say no simply for the fact you can boot them out later if you so wish and, as noted, this is primarily occurring due to an unprecedented cluster**** in Westminster. Simply put if we enacted such legislation now we'd be having bi-elections every five minutes with the number of MP's crossing over and being defenestrated by Chairman Johnson.
Either way the current voting system is a complete joke that leaves most people disenfranchised anyway so this instance really doesnt make any difference in the grand scheme of things.
