Socialism is the natural next stage of humanity and socialism is achievable, especially with young people so concerned about climate change. They will soon realise, if they haven't already, that the only way to counter climate change is to adopt an economic system that prioritises quality of life over profit. If socialism is so bad, how comes the Soviet Union was the second largest economy in the world ,and China is on course to become the world's largest?
China. the country that is oppressing Hong Kong? Brainwashing people into believing HKers are protesting for independence and are backed by the US? And the country that has a capitalist economy shrouded in a 'communist' blanket? Which also has reduced privacy to the point of using face detecting cameras increasingly?

The way I see it, is that people who are very successful (most) generally are better placed at birth than other people. Ie, white people are far more likely to get a job as a poltiicain or banker than a black person. Working class people are disadvantaged at birth. Yes, there is more social mobility than before, but in general, social mobility is just a form of capitalist propoganda, as is the whole idea of meritocracy, which obviously doesn't exist, and only exists to try and give hope to the proletariat that one day they too can be rich, which is very rare, although of course, it can happen, it is just rare.

I think we should just set a limit on how much people are allowed to make, and tax rich people more.
that's not true at all imo. I believe in "education is the great equaliser". Although many successful people have a clear advantage, I believe that the working class can because as rich as any man in the world through education. If a poor kid focuses on school and does really well, he/she can go to a top uni and form connections which can be extremely beneficial in success, like the old saying goes "it's not what you know, it's who you know". Even if you don't go to a uni, you can educate yourself through books which contain the key to success ( autobiographies of rich successful people for example), you can also teach yourself economics, mathematics, law etc ( any field that'll help aid your success). So I think that anyone can because rich through capitalism and I don't believe in systematic racism ( black people are disadvantaged bla bla bla, im black btw). I don't think there should be any cap on what people make, tbh, society needs people who earn a **** ton of money ignorer for were to be innovations. If someone has a lot of money, that person can invest which could lead to development in certain areas in tech for example. If there's a new, innovative product that nobody has heard of, we need smart, rich people to invest in these products to better our lives.

Why do you think people have a much more negative reaction to the terms "far right" and "alt-right" than "far left" and "alt-left"? Or just a more negative reaction to right wingers in general?

Nobody serious about immigration has a problem with the immigrants themselves who are just responding to market forces. Do you agree that immigration

A) negatively effects the working classes (primarily through wage suppression (supply and demand) but also housing, education etc)
B) Is used to undermine collective solidarity - all successful revolutions have been in high trust monoculture.
?

I think lgbt tights is incompatible with Christianity but I won’t go down that rabbit hole (mainly cos I’ll be banned)

....

I don’t think the lgbt movement has ever been based 😂a lot of dodgy people and groups eg NAMBLA were involved but they try and retcon that.

.....

The more I look at I haven’t found an argument that can be made against trans people that can’t be taken as homophobia.
...

Oswald Mosley was a good boy and the EU is nothing like the third reich. That is a dumb Conservative take. Other than Jews I can’t think of anything Nazis would be more against
Well, it was founded by some nazi sympathisers. You support the EU then?

You're a nazbol, i'm never going to agree with you. oswald mosely was scum. And yes, criticising transgenderism is now homophobia.

Immigration is needed, our country has a low birth rate and we need them. They can be counter revolutionary, but they are used as a scapegoat by capitalists to divide the working classes, as they have far more in common with the working man - this is so the working class will ignore their oppression by the system in favour of reactionary discrimination

You're absolutely right, although Sweden does have quite high crime rates, but that's to do with uncontrolled migration and poor assimilation rather than socialism. Although these countries are socially liberal, and only economically socialist.
Why do you not like social liberals

actually cool with social democracy - problems with the far left, capping incomes etc. wanted to trigger our resident hipster commie
Yeah I don't believe in capping income, if you can earn it it helps everyone, but I think the rich should be taxed more

I don't support china's security measures.

Hong kong is not being oppressed. Britain was "oppressing" Hong Kong just as much as China supposedly is.

Hong Kongers are protesting, either for independence or to be annexed by the UK again. Of course they are backed by the US in one way or the other! It would be good for US interests if HK came into the western sphere of influence.

China is socialist, not communist. My chinese friends agree with me on this.

I've always wondered that, I think its just because the ultimate basis for far right and alt right is racial supremacy, whereas far left is often seen as basedo n class. Although I've seen plenty of people attacking the far left. George Galloway for example has always been labelled as "far left" (although in reality, he is just an antiimperialist with some Marxist tendencies)

Well because I'm just socially conservative in many ways, and their ideas are stupid. Can't remember if it was caroline lucas or some other idiot calling for an "all female" cabniet. They are the sort of ideas modern social liberalism breeds.

We've just reclaimed it from rightwingers who used it to shut down debate

And I didn't call you a liberal anyway, I meant to say "i hate liberals, just like you do"

In terms of other policies, I'd at the very least, stop people from having to pay tax towards the monarchy - it can go elsewhere, like to mental health spending, and seize royal land. I'm sure Balmoral or Sandringham would make way for some lovely new council estates.

I'd ban private schools, but not grammar schools. Buses, trains, gas, electricity, water etc would all be nationalised.

MPs salaries would be reduced to £60K as would the PM's salary.

Referendum would be held on scrapping Trident (although I'm split on the issue)

Referendum would be held on legalising marijuana

I'd also re-legalise handguns and reverse other gun control measures. Most communists, and many socialists like myself, are pro gun. Marx said the workers must not be disarmed.

England would get its own parliament and NI would have a referendum on staying in the UK.

All of the UK's overseas territories would become fully part of the UK, equivalent to Wales or Scotland for instance, with its residents gaining British citizenship, and being allowed to live and work in the UK.

Commit to active reforestation across the UK

Hold a referendum on the UK becoming a republic

Bring care homes under the control of the NHS

I'd also embargo or vote for UN measures to put sanctions on nations like Brazil which do not do enough to protect the environment.

Full nationalisation is an absolutely nuclear take 😂😂

You can’t honestly tell me you’d support nationalised telecoms and catering and hospitality, to name two examples?

Of course I would ! Why not? We've had them before. It always disgusts me to see shops and chain cafes in hospitals, where people go because they have no choice, and yet even when people are sick and vulnerable, they are trying to charge you for something.

No god no. What Nazi sympathisers founded the EU? The EU is the antithesis of national socialism.. Mosley did support something like the EU but much looser based on nation states.

so you admit you’re homophobic now?

Shouldn’t we address the low birth rate problem, eg like Poland and Hungary? Shouldn’t we support our own people have children. You are not being consistent or critical here and are thinking like a liberal.

agree that banks, businesses and politicians etc blame immigrants rather than accept responsibility.... but all of the above push and lobby aggressively for mass immigration- which is then used to lower wages and punish and divide working class solidarity.
