Chemistry Half (1/2) Equations

I'm stuck on how to answer these questions. P.S. I'm new to AS Level Chemistry, and have not long started the course.

1. Complete the following 1/2 equations:

Fe+ (-) ? -> Fe2+
Cu+ (+) ? -> Cu
At- (-) 2e -> ?
2S2- (-) 4e -> ?

For the first two blanks, I put an 'e' for electron. Are they right, and would anyone be able to help me with the others?

Thanks!

I always think about it as balancing the charges:

e.g. Q2: Cu+ + (?) -> Cu

Copper charge is changing from +1 to 0, so it is losing 1 charge, the same as gaining an electron

Your answer for Q1 is also right.

Using the principle of charges, I think you can complete q3 quite easily.
For q4, the electrons will be split between all atoms equally. You will get equally charged ions, but what charge will they have?
