Accommodation at u of Nottingham

Nottingham uni really appeals to me but when I saw the accommodation I realised it was mostly catered. Does this make socialising more limiting as you have to be back at a certain time for dinner everyday and food choices very limiting too? Also self catered is more off campus so if I went for this would I be more isolated and find it harder to meet people?
You don't have to eat there if you don't want to, and I would have thought that having dinner like that would increase socialisation with your hall?

Being self-catered doesn't make it harder to meet people. You'll share a kitchen which helps with socialising and the accommodation usually throws events to meet people outside your flat. See Nottingham Two, Raleigh Park, SPC and Broadgate Park websites to get a feel.
