I know this question seems unnecessary but how many clothes should I pack for university? I have a habit of overpacking but realistically, what should I take wardrobe wise?

Hi,

It depends on where you are going and what the facilities are like? How often are you planning on washing clothes? I took three shirts, two pairs of jeans/trousers, coats/jackets, snoods/scarfs, shoes, socks and anything else you can think of.

I agree that it depends how far you're going, how you'll get there and how much storage you will have. I took nearly everything I owned, purely because I could. Realistically though, make sure you pack clothes that you'd be happy to wear to lectures etc, parties, work (if you're going to work whilst at uni, that is), and clothes for when it inevitably gets colder.
