Aiming for 2:1, possible?

I really do struggle academically, I mostly seem to get 50+ in my assignments and will be starting 3rd year soon and really don't want to fail.

I find it helps to have a copy of the university marking scheme when tackling assignments. You then have an idea of what to do to attain a 1st, 2:1, 2:2 etc. What are you studying?

I'm studying animal behaviour at mmu, for a 2:1, At least 60 credits with
marks ≥ 60%, mean mark 58%

for 2:2, At least 60 credits with mark ≥ 50%, mean mark 48%.
