It's very strange because my friend has studied in the American system for the past 13 + years and she also took AP English Language and AP English Literature with stellar grades (5s out of 5s) and they still requested that she take this. So I have no idea why they need more proof...

Exactly.... And not sure if my son has scanned and send it over or not.... :frown:

But if your son holds a UK passport then he won't need to.

I've applied for law with French law with A*A*A* (English lit, history and French) + A* in EPQ and 9999A*A*A*A*A*8 at GCSE but knowing my luck I probably flopped the LNAT. Does anyone know how many places there are on this course?

Anyone got an offer for computer science (I applied on 15/10/2019)

Because there have been cases of fraud. By scanning your original GCSE certificates they can verify you are who you are and your grades are accurate. There have been lots of scams in the past and it is a security measure. I actually thought they did it for everyone but I might be mistaken in that.

My dgd does hold a British passport and was born and olives in this country so have no idea now why they asked for her certificates b apart from security reasons and am not worried. It could be because A level predictions are high A*A*A whereas GCSEs were 9888777775.

But other UK universities don't seem to request for it for applicants who are from my country. Maybe the admission people are not familiar with our education system:confused:
. I am fuss about it as for some reason my son didn't scan and send his cert even though he already gotten his A Level result with a A fir English.

Hi I applied for business management too! Just wondering whether you’re an international applicant and what your predicted grades are?
