I think you misinterpreted that because it would be unfair if people who aren’t on as popular courses, so get their offers faster get accommodation earlier, as for example offers for dentistry might be given out really late but for sociology they might be giving out relatively quick, so unfair if this was how it was & also the student at kings told me you have guaranteed accommodation for the first year at kings as long as you firm

you're right it's first come first served. i applied for accom around april last year and still got what i wanted so i wouldn't rush into firming kings if you're still not sure. however - great dover street etc (anything close to campus) does go fast.
