I don’t. But I’m also waiting for KCL with 18 :frown:( not very hopeful tho.. my predicted grades are A*A*A and my ps is quite strong but I don’t really think I could get in with such a low score..

Are you home or international?

Could anyone please tell me if it’s possible to change your degree (after getting a conditional offer) before the start of the programme for instance from economics to law?

Warwick is definitely a very good uni for Law - very highly respected so I wouldn't take a gap year if you get into Warwick. However, ULaw is not a particularly good Insurance for someone with such high predicted grades.

You may still get an offer from Kings but if you don't I would personally just Firm Warwick and not have an Insurance as there will be better unis than ULaw in Adjustment and Clearing anyway

Thank you for the advice. I know Warwick is good I just aimed for much higher and I KNOW I can do so much better you know...It was a bad day when I was taking my LNAT- with minimum help from my college. It just makes me so angry that this is the only reason as to why I didn't get an offer, it's very upsetting.

Emphasising the 'minimum help' from my college... I am clueless about the whole clearing process. I am thinking of applying for Manchester and Queen Mary through clearing. Do you think this is a good idea? I mean they have the same grade requirements as Warwick (I think) and I already have an offer from Warwick so I am not sure if there is any point in doing that, unless I don't get the grades I need.

Also, do you still think that I shouldn't take a gap year even if I get really good exam results (like 3 A*s)? Going to Warwick with 3 A*s would make me feel like I'm wasting myself and my abilities.

I am in the same position. I am an EU applicant and my grades translate to A*A*A. However I got low LNAT score and got rejected today by UCL because of it and by Nottingham last week (offered Criminology instead). Still waiting for KCL, Bristol and Warwick (quite confident I will get an offer from wariwckas they dont require the lnat). I didnt initially want to go there but i think tats the best option since good unis dont have places for law in clearing. I am still hoping for bristol tho..

I wouldn't bother swapping Warwick for Manchester or QMUL for prestige as they're not any better in my opinion - despite the fact that QMUL ask for A*AA they actually take quite a few people with AAA and are in Clearing most years (last year they were asking for AAA in Clearing). So it's only worth swapping for other reasons like preferring to be in a big city for example.

I think if you get 2 or 3 A*s you may be able to trade up from Warwick in Adjustment to Kings if they do their Superstar programme again (although I'm not sure if they would also be looking at people's LNAT scores at that stage). Last year, Bristol were in Adjustment for Law and they didn't require the LNAT at all whereas Nottingham still did. The good thing about Adjustment is that you wouldn't have to give up your Warwick place while you applied somewhere else. It would be kept safe for you whereas Clearing would require you to give up your existing place before you could apply somewhere else, although you could still make phone calls to unis to assess the situation.

If you got 2 or 3 A*s it sounds like you wouldn't be happy going to Warwick. Whether it's worth taking a year out is a very personal decision but there's nothing wrong with doing so and reapplying with achieved grades and a better LNAT which would make you more likely to get an offer.

It often is possible to swap from one subject to another but probably not for Law as people wouldn't have done the LNAT. Taken from Kings website:

All applicants are required to take the National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT) by 20 January. To facilitate the assessment of your application however, we encourage you to take the LNAT by mid-December. Due to the competitive nature of the programme, it is unlikely we will be able to consider your application further if you have not sat your LNAT by 20 January.

So if I for instance decide to do law then no uni would let me change my degree?

Most Unis don’t require the LNAT so non LNAT Unis would probably let you change if they had spaces and you had the right grades ...

Hi, i'm a prospective student. I really love london and everything about my course (medicine) however having a good social life is really important to me? I would think, being in london and having so much to do would be the social aspect would be quite good. Can you elaborate on why you are not finding it so?

I do Computer Science and don't live in a KCL hall.

Medics are the most social, arguably, either them or business students. If you want a good social life I'd recommend going to Angel Lane, Stratford One or Garden Halls.
