what about pain... I think you had a more pain I also nervous about pain while electrolysis
Tattoo pain varies on the location. e.g. I sat for 7hrs having my forearm tattooed and it only hurt in the final 30 minutes / when he got close to the elbow joint. But last week I had one done right below the back of my knee and it was awful despite taking less than an hour!

7 hours?! Why would you do that to your body

When they fade they can be reworked.

Going green ain't a thing for the inks any more unless you live on a sunbed

OP - I have lots of big tattoos (8-9 hour sits) and the pain is fine. I slept through the majority of a few of them.

'Worst' one was my chest, specifically over the collarbone, but it was by mo means unbearable

Hello, I've previously had both laser hair removal and electrolysis hair removal and found both fairly pain free. But, I'm about to have my first tattoo and I'm sooo nervous about the pain! If you have had a tattoo and electrolysis or laser could you tell me which is worse?
Thanks

I’ve gotten neither, but judging by others’ responses elsewhere, I’d say that tattooing hurts more than removing hair by laser. I remember it being contrasted to a cat scratching (hope You’re not allergic to cats; I’ve three and am used to them scratching me) and a bee stinging (it hurt a bit, but a wasp hurt a lot worse, and I’m allergic to the latter). I hypothesise it hurts a bit more than being scratched by a manual razor. 🪒 Yet, I could be mistaken.
I've only had a few tattoos done. None were too bad. The only bad area was where my artist went over my ankle bone. I'm thinking about getting electrolysis or laser hair removal but don't know what the process is like and which is more permanent. I'd like to get where I don't have to get waxed anymore except my brows.

And even then, I'd think about getting them permanently removed and getting them tattooed on.
