Hi
so ive recently accepted an offer to study MPharm at uni next week and although this is a great degree I've also began thinking about my options for GEM as well.
So my story is that I at first applied to medicine during sixth form but got rejected due to my grades therefore I took a gap year to resit Bio and chem this past year. However, I have again failed to meet the grades so i got into mpharm through clearing.
i feel like i'll be too old to study medicine by the time ive finished my mpharm degree which would be 23/24? and i should consider doing biomed as the uni does offer that and i do have the grades. but i dont want to do biomed at the same time due to knowing that GEM is much more competitive and harder meaning id rather have an mpharm degree as a back up.
would like to hear thoughts and advice!!

THANK YOU!!

I think you can still get into medicine with pharmacology so I would do that to keep options open but I really don't think you will be too old to do medicine there are LOADS of people that do graduate entry
