University choices

Hi all,

I would love a career as a finance manager. Deciding on what course to do at uni is the problem. I do know that I am planning on also doing a masters degree.

I’ve been thinking about doing Finance & Accounting at Leeds University Business School as it’s ranked 4th and I love the city of Leeds and it’s also only an hour drive from my home city. And then I also saw that they offer a financial mathematics course which may be more suited to me as I love maths but I’m unsure.

However, many teachers in my school have been persuading me to consider applying for OxBridge but I’ve checked and they don’t offer a finance course however they both offer an economics course but I’m unsure on whether that would be right for me although it is possible to become a financial mathematics with it.

Pls share any advice you have, it would be much appreciated :smile:
