Is it important to be involved in making your university better?

Poll

It is really important for me to be involved in helping make my university better

What do you think?
Very important not to make your uni worse.
Unis live on reputation so its to the benefit of everyone if you put effort into making it a better place. Benefits you whilst there and those who come after. Only selfish people wouldnt care.

Was gonna say, your uni follows you for life on your CV so why wouldn't you want to improve its image?
What does "better" mean in the context of this thread? :holmes:

Personally, I'm on a bit of a mission to get my current uni to improve itself and its services/communications/practices/policies in certain areas :ninja: So it's very important to me to be involved in making my uni "better" :yep:

I don't have too many regrets in life but a big one is not lodging a formal complaint against someone at my undergrad uni. I was ill and scared, so it was understandable, but my inaction had an impact on students who came after me :frown: That said, it is tough going against one's uni in that kinda way and ultimately, one's responsibility is first and foremost to oneself
