Very important not to make your uni worse. Unis live on reputation so its to the benefit of everyone if you put effort into making it a better place. Benefits you whilst there and those who come after. Only selfish people wouldnt care.
What does "better" mean in the context of this thread?
Personally, I'm on a bit of a mission to get my current uni to improve itself and its services/communications/practices/policies in certain areas So it's very important to me to be involved in making my uni "better"
I don't have too many regrets in life but a big one is not lodging a formal complaint against someone at my undergrad uni. I was ill and scared, so it was understandable, but my inaction had an impact on students who came after me That said, it is tough going against one's uni in that kinda way and ultimately, one's responsibility is first and foremost to oneself
