Hey Guys,

So I have ridiculously bad skin, I get really bad breakouts combined with rosacea, generally, it's not good.

Any advice on what cleansers I could be using?

tbh youd most likely need to go to a doctor for it as cleansers wont do the full job. also try getting an aloe vera plant and applying that at night as it's more of a natural product. but yeah dont spend loads on products- go see a doc!

I've been looking into everything including loads of articles like this one (https://lumitylife.co.uk/blogs/news/...cleansers-work) but you're right, I should consult a doctor before I do anything else.

I hate my skin haha.

Over the counter/store bought cleansers do nothing tbh. They’re basically a placebo - source: my dermatologist. If you really want stuff that will work see a gp

yes see a professional, I know what you mean as I've had acne basically my whole teenage/adult life, it fluctuates but I've got extremely sensitive skin so it's difficult to find a remedy. But dont give up!

The idea that something's good for you just because it's "natural" is a bit of a myth. Some of the most awful things you can be putting on your face are "natural". In exfoliants, carefully measured exfoliating beads are much less likely to cause skin damage than some irregularly shaped walnut seeds, for example.

"Chemicals" aren't bad for you. There's less harm in using something made in a lab than in some home remedy
