What to do if you feel you're being ignored?

Sometimes when I text a friend, she doesn't always text back despite having read the text.
Why do I care so much about it though! I keep telling myself she may be busy and that texts don't always require replies but I end up thinking she don't like me :frown:

How do I get over this!!

People have different perspectives of how quickly to respond to messages, so it could just be about accepting that she has a different outlook to you.

Maybe you just like the attention. I have friends like this and tbh I've learned that it's just them as a person. Some people are more responsive in real life. Don't ditch them, just meet new people who text you just as much.
