Hi there, I want to apply to medicine and I am currently doing my EPQ. I have kept changing my mind about my EPQ topic, but I have decided that I think I want to title my project "Does the NHS adequately protect whistleblowers?" which is a bit of a hot topic at the moment. I was just wondering whether this sort of EPQ topic would be appropriate to bring up in a medical interview and also if any of you guys have any further reading suggestions

From my experience, medical school admissions get very touchy about these kinds of subjects so I would say probably not.

I thought that since it comes under medical ethics it would be alright but if they are a bit sensitive about it would you recommend I change my EPQ topic entirely?
