Does doing the msc in oral and maxillofacial surgery after doing dentistry makeyouoms

As above at Manchester uni it says that you can do an msc of OMS after dentistry. Does that make you a real OMS? If not then what’s the point

No, you need to do a medical degree, complete the Foundation Programme then enter surgical and OMFS specialty training. The MSc is there as an adjunct to the clinical training programme. It's not a replacement for on the job training.
