I've also just recently started at UEA. I'm not sure but I think £60 should suffice.

Yes, it is possible to live off £60 a week after rent is paid.
I am living off under £30 a week after rent in London.

Well done, but how did you earn that £2000 per week rent in London?

My toy animals all contribute.
My starlight pony pays in fairy dust, the trolls in leprechaun gold and the union jack wearing bulldog in craft beer.
Plus Rudolph the red nosed reindeer got santa to sign the tenancy agreement for his stable, grazing and whisky fountain.

If only you live out in the sticks, you'd live like a millionaire (but have to change your TSR username)

I still don't know how you're doing that. How much goes on food?

Usually £21-£25.
3 for £1 subway cookies and £2 chicago town pizzas are special treats.

No smartphone, no phone contract, no gym membership, no sky/netflix, no central heating, no takeaway food unless its below £1.99.
Two meals a day and lots of tap water.
The water bill is a real pain, won't allow payment in monthly instalments.
Charge my laptop, phone and cameras at work.

Ah, see my lifestyle just wouldn't permit any of that. Electricity wise, my PS4 or gaming PC rinse my electric when I'm using those, also I work a lot with music on my gaming laptop which wouldn't last 15 minutes on a battery charge with all that going on. Food wise, obviously I'm into improving my physique and I'm a bit tall lad anyway, so my food bill on its own is like twice your monthly expenditure  plus gym membership. I don't do phone contracts or anything though, I'm on PAYG. I run a car as well which obviously takes up a lot of money.
