Huntington's Disease

In Huntington's disease, is it the neurons that are degenerated or neurones? Because I am aware they aren't the same.

Neurons and neurones are the same thing - we tend to use neurone in the UK while neuron is used in the US.

The terms have the same meaning, the spelling is just different. You can't do something wrong by using one of those!
