❤️What’s the student community like

I’m currently in love with Aston and looking to apply for 2020 but just wondering what is the student community like and is the SU any good like lots going on does it ever get boring and I heard a rumour sure it’s not true but is the student body ‘chavvy’

I enjoy being at Aston and think that the SU is great, they put on a lot of different events and offers and I think they are genuinely trying (and mostly succeeding) to represent the student body well.

Aston has a diverse and very nice student community and I particularly enjoy that there are various places and clubs to socialise.
Another highlight for me is the MLK multiple faith centre - there are lots of events on there but you can also always find somebody who will listen to you and have great chat. They do a lot to create a real community not divided by faith or background.
