Student finance loan for Muslims

Why do we not give young people the chance to take out an interest-free loan?

We're talking about their education which is very serious

In the most simple terms, the government try to carter to the majority which isn’t Muslim. They would make practically no money from interest free loans which isn’t profitable.
If you want a sin free or halal access to education. Go study in a Muslim country where they provide this. UK isn’t predominately Muslim so it would be stupid to suggest so.

Because this is the UK, not a Muslim country. Implying that Student Finance in this country should change or add an additional service to cater for some or indeed any religious ideology that would cost taxpayers more money is ridiculous. The UK is one of the most tolerant and accepting countries in the world, but what you are suggesting is preposterous.
basically what the above users have already said ^^
I think people should get better loans terms if they are studying a degree that provides a useful skill to the economy or is more likely to lead to a higher paying career. For example engineering and finance students should get much lower interest rates than sociology students.
