If you are being bullied, it can sometimes feel so difficult to reach out for help and support, and can be a really lonely experience in your life. However, there is lots of support out there for when you feel ready and able to ask for it, which can be difficult to do but help you so much. Where would you turn to if you needed help dealing with a bully?

Would it be a trusted adult, friend or teacher? Or would you turn to social media, online communities or charities where you can talk to people outside of your circle about the problem? Are there any places you wouldn't turn?

If you have any experiences you are willing to share as well, it would be great to hear how people coped/are coping with dealing with the bullies.

Friends - I feel as if I tell adults then they just escalate it rather than be helpful even though they don't mean to.

God.

however, if it's physical, I'd also tell staff. I've never been bullied before so I don't really know what I'd do exactly.

I talk with good friends of mine about this (who are trusted adults at the same time, because they are all adults ), if that ever happens.

Given when I got bullied, I didn't actually have many friends because they were afraid of being bullied themselves. I guess I turned to online forums when going through it. The support from charities tends to be generic and not much use (if I'm perfectly honest).

The support I had was actually through online gaming and almost 'escaping reality'.

My parent. When I was being bullied physically and verbally the teachers did nothing. Moved schools and it was the best decision that could have happened.

Me Ma & Da

To deal with it, I went to his house and pasted him when he was on his own. Stopped from there

not my parents lol. they'll be like 'you cant defend yourself' or other bs. i'd just tell the teachers.

i mean i had pretty thick skin growing up so i usually ignore comments ect.

alternatively if you wanna deal with it yourself. bring out your friend tommy

Well, considering that the police almost laugh at me when I report any bullying to them, I am compelled to take it into my own hands.

To anyone out there feeling low and don't feel comfortable telling their parents, friends or counsellor about it, then I'd suggest checking out 7cups.com - you can talk to "listeners" and it can be a nice release to just tell your story and get any pent-up emotions out to someone who is trained to listen and support you.

My parents would just laugh at me and say im too weak to defend myself

If i were bullied (I'm not) I would teach those people to show me some *****ing respect and they wont dare try it again

Either my friends or subconsciousness. From experience, teachers don't do **** until it's too late and same goes for my parents, my dad would be too scared himself to get involved and my mum will laugh at me for being a "weakling". The world is a harsh place eh?
