I've had a cold for the past few days so I've not got much going sleep with a blocked nose and my eye has started twitching a lot. Just wondering why? Will it stop once I'm over the cold or should I be worried and see a doctor? It has happened before when I've had a cold and stopped but not as much as this time, I'm worried

Is it in your lower eyelid? I get that when I'm really tired, and stress can cause it too. Also too much caffeine, but I imagine tiredness makes more sense if you're sick.

Yes it's under the eye that twitches. I don't really drink caffeinated drinks, not really stressed so it must be due to and lack of sleep and being sick.

I have experienced one eye twitching due to stress/lack of sleep. It is possible that you may be experienced this due to your cold and lack of good sleep? I would wait until you are fully recovered to see this was the issue and see if your eye is still twitching, possibly making an appointment with your doctor if you are worried.

Rough flannel and warm water, give it a good scrub. Best skin treatment ever.
