your thoughts are likely to be in your mother tongue or primary language, so if you only spoke english, you'd think in english & the same for french: if you only spoke french, you'd think in french. if you spoke both, you'd think in the language you either are more confident in/ were taught from birth.

So if I am correct, each person would say...

1) I think in english
2) I think in french
3) I think in......

I just don't know what 3) would say.

Well I do French as a GCSE so idk if my opinion is validated.
Whichever is your mother tongue, I suppose you think in it.

However, I find that for number 3 I usually think in French when doing French work and English for anything else. Sometimes I see a French word or sentence randomly, it just depends really
