Hey everyone! I've been looking, but I haven't found a thread for Nursing applicants for 2020 yet, so I thought I'd make my own.

What you study: A-Level Psychology, A-Level Biology & L3 BTEC Subsid in Health & Social Care.

What you study: Access to nursing HE diploma
Predicted grades: Hopefully minimum of 30 dis and 15 mer
Preferred branch of nursing: Adult nursing going on to Intensive care
Universities you're applying for: only put UOM and John Moores so far
Relevant experience: Been volunteering in my local hospital currently on the paediatric ward
Have you sent in your UCAS Application? No so stuck on my personal statement

I just want to advise all Access Students that Keele University in Staffordshire will be hosting a free Access2HE Conference on the 9th of October 2019 at Keele Hall, 9:30 am till 3:15 pm. We have several keynote speakers covering a range of topics such as UCAS, student accommodation, student finance and support from student services. There will also be campus tours, student life talks before ending the day with a range of academic taster sessions students can prebook themselves onto.

Our academic taster sessions include:-
Accounting & Finance
Economics
Forensics & criminology
Geography Geology & Environment
Human Resource Management
Law
Nursing & Midwifery
Psychology

Preferred branch of nursing: Adult
Universities you're applying for: UoNottingham, UoManchester, UoBirmingham, UoYork and King's College London
Relevant experience: University of Nottingham nursing summer school, Hospice summer school etc

Predicted grades: Need at least 30 distinctions and 15 merits over 45 of the 60 credits.
Preferred branch of nursing: MNurs Adult and Child or BSc Child Nursing
Universities you're applying for: Plymouth
Relevant experience: 22 years as an HCA, just applied for voluntary work at a local Childrens Hospice
Have you sent in your UCAS Application? No, just need to compelte personal statment.

Predicted grades: Aiming for a First
Preferred branch of nursing: Mental Health
Universities you're applying for: Cumbria (lancaster campus), UCLAN, Middlesex, Derby, London Southbank.
Relevant experience: Event First Aider with St John Ambulance
Have you sent in your UCAS Application? Yes, had my Cumbria interview, got an unconditional so withdrew other applications & confirmed my place there!

predicted grades: (im american so we have an average instead: 2.5 gpa)
branch: adult nursing
unis: birmIngram, ucl, roehampton, middlesex, Leicester, hertfordshire, qmul
experience: 2 year medical assisting associate degree program, 160 hours of shadowing a medical receptionist, part time jobs
ucas application: haven’t sent, confused on how to do it tbh lmao

I have an interview for UEA and for York so far.

UEA has told us what to prepare but York's information is very vague and just says we will have mini-interviews and group work. Do you guys have any advice for what to prepare?

Relevant experience: 4 years as a dance teacher and work experience in a special needs school, renal unit and children's emergency department
