We were still very much capitalist.
It worked, it brought socialist policies, spread wealth and lifted people out of poverty, strengthen workers rights and shrunk the gap between the richest and the poorest. I think that is far better than a system which leads to mystery enslaves people to the point killing themselves. For example the Foxconn Suicides.

I dont think the Chinese economy built of factories with suicides net attached to them is a example to follow mate. I'm going to leave it here with you, sometimes in politics a person can get too in love with a political ideal they go blind to its failures.

Thanks for your an attempt at a lesson I will decline
.If someone is continually attacking the UK or the West then it is a fair question of why be here if you hate the host country so much. That is fair comment.

You also miss the fact in the Trump case they were elected representatives and US citizens. They were attacking the issues and not the entire country in favour of another power.

You are also jumping in over a series of threads.
You are welcome.

I think you're comment to the OP was verging on prejudice and I disliked it. We will have to agree to differ.

By the way dont lecture me about jumping in, you mentioned me and another poster and made 3 antagonistic off topic posts with no constructive content. I'm still waiting for you to inform me what the point of you content was. From #576

I will assume you are Chinese but too ashamed to confirm it.
If you despite the west so much, why are you here and not back in China?

Your prosperity owes more to Capitalism than Communism.

Poverty is a relative concept. If everyone is poor there is no poverty.

Income per head of USA and the UK is much higher than China. Even Taiwan. Do you want the figures?

Income disparity between your top earners is also much wider in China. Do you want the figures?
I'm British from the UK.

So you are Chinese British? If you despise this country so much and admire China , then why not apply for citizenship? You also failed to respond to all the other points made.

You have a lot to learn then before making statements about poverty and the wealth of nations.

Read my previous comment. The lives of the Chinese you can meet on social media are not the lives of the majority of Chinese.

But you make comments which are dumb like the 800 million out of poverty and then berate the west for not doing the same even though there are no countries with such a population? Crazy.

I think economically we should aim to be like them, particuarly in Britain. A hybrid system would be very effective.
In what way exactly...? We have neither the work force nor the tolerance for the type of work that forms the back bone of their economy. Britain is not and should certainly not aim to be a maker of low grade knock off kitsch.
I don't support their human rights abuses and mass surveillance though.
Well then you dont support China as that is part and parcel for their regime.
