This was after I swallowed chewing gum in 2017. I still feel like part of my throat is blocked by it and the other side is the poking feeling which isn’t going away and is worrying me. Can swallowing chewing gum cause cancer?

These are clinical symptoms. You need to see a GP with a view to a referral to an ENT (ear, nose & throat) clinic at your local hospital.

Make the appointment today.

Have you been to the GP yet? You keep making these threads but the only person who will be able to give you any answers is the doctors

Not yet, you have to call at 8 to get one or go there and line up and it’s a long queue and sometimes the receptionist doesn’t pick up. I will try and get one tomorrow
tonsillitis maybe

anything that affects your throat will send pain straight to your ears
