I keep reading online about the the benefit of keeping up to date with your field of study at uni and how journals and magazines are a great way to do this!
I was just wondering, are there any good ones for a History student like myself? I'm in my first year.

Depends on your area of interest - there are hundreds of academic History journals.
Go to your Uni Library, and browse the bound journals on the shelves, look in the indexes for stuff that interests you.
You can also do this for online articles - and get emails updating you on the next edition of that journal.
