BMAT Essay

This was the essay question "a little learning is a dangerous thing" Alexander Pope from the BMAT specimen paper.
I wondering what mark this would achieve, let me know

The statement “little learning is a dangerous thing”, the author Alexander Pope is implying that it is even safer to lack any knowledge about a given topic, than to have some knowledge. This could potentially be apparent as a lack of complete knowledge can lead to confusion and misunderstanding. Misunderstanding can ultimately lead to a full misconception of the initial issue at hand, and possibly exacerbate the problem further. June
However, On the contrary, some may argue that even a little learning can sometimes solve the issue at hand. For instance, small understanding of first aid could save a human life in the event of an accident. Understanding that the victim must be kept calm, reassured and warm, is enough to prevent them from getting further agitated. Small amounts of basic knowledge on the matter can be advantageous when dealing with a new problem.
Furthermore, it can be argued not a person with some knowledge of the procedure is better prepared to deal with the procedure an individual who has never heard of the procedure. The person with limited knowledge is not as experienced as a trained professional however in emergency situations were a trained professional is not available, that person is a viable consideration.
In retrospect, no knowledge is useless, in emergency situations small amounts of knowledge can potentially save lives. However, this is one proclaims to have full understanding of a problem, but in reality, they lack the essential comprehension to solve the problem; in such cases it can be argued that Alexander Pope is correct. For example, A surgeon practicing a procedure which he/she has not been fully trained for. This lack of knowledge is putting patients’ lives at risk. Therefore one should be truthful and cautious about the experience they have in a given topic, before handling an issue, as if this is not considered; there may be horrible consequences.
