Hi, you most likely will have to I’m afraid. Although, do you receive speech and language therapy at the moment? And have you been officially diagnosed by a consultant/GP?

You might be able to do your oral exam in front of teacher instead - rather than speaking in front of the whole class which can be quite daunting. The best thing to do is to speak to your teacher about this and see what they can do to help.

Yes you need to do it. For the actual GCSE your school can get a waiver on the time limitation for speaking exams so you know there's no pressure to complete the oral in the usual time limit.

I have never heard of a school that required students to take speaking exams in front of the whole class. In the vast majority of school it is just you and the teacher.

Really?

I had to do mine in front of the class whilst being recorded, it was awful.
