How is this flopping a gcse?
If you are sure you can get an 8/9 in urdu without a teacher why not, but if your school doesn't offer urdu how will you do the speaking exam? Assuming, you are not planning on being a private candidate.

What is the issue with german? Do you already speak urdu?

I think it would look bad. Just try your hardest if you can’t drop it. Do you hate it that much?

I can't even speak or write in another language but I still purposely flopped my Spanish GCSE because I hated my teacher, couldn't wrap my head around the language despite learning it for 3+ years, and was too busy with my other subjects to bother. Still managed to pass with a 4 somehow. As long as the rest of your subjects are good then you should be fine.

Nope. It was never mentioned ever again but I also had decent grades on top of that. Everything else was a 6 or above. I'm applying for university at the moment but I doubt it'll make a difference.
