It's not just those who they agree with but also, patronisingly, those on their hierarchy of victimhood. One of the ironies of the far-left is their abandonment and even vilification of secular and liberal groups in Muslim-majority countries because they see their support for a victimised Muslim minority in the West as more important.

Sure, their hierarchy of oppression is very important to them.

But as long as you still say exactly what they want, they do will have empathy for you.
