Any Ideas on a possible dissertation question/thesis regarding child soldiers? I had a possible question regarding the potential prosecution of child soldiers who have volunteered as opposed to those abducted. I think a distinction has to be drawn and justice needs to be served to those who willingly join ISIS for example.

I guess the question is whether international law should be reformed in order to be able to prosecute the children themselves who voluntarily become child soldiers as opposed to only prosecuting recruiters as children volunteers or not are immune from prosecution up until age 18.

I dont think finding cases would be an issue, I just want to know if the question is viable.
