A level history AQA revision help

Hi huys
I am really really struggling on how to revise British history 1951-2007 and Russia, as I just feel like theres so so much to learn!
have you tried breaking it down into topics/themes/people etc? I found A-level history had so much content, and spending a few free periods a week breaking it down helping my understanding a lot.
you could try maybe timelines, flashcards, key info sheets (i made one of these for each event, each person etc etc, and were so useful to refer back too), bullet point notes for each chapter?

try a few methods, once youve found how to condense the information in a way you understand, the rest of revision becomes incredibly easy.
