I lost my GCSE certificates

Ok, I somehow lost my GCSE certificates. I am a little worried this will influence future job applications and that. Anyway, I am in College studying
for a diploma and a few certificates (like key skills, and have got some certificates for adult maths and English already. And an ICT certificate)

Should I contact AQA and pay for the statement of results (this costs like £40)? I know my grades weren't all that good anyway. I got like E's and F'S ... So yeah I did badly in school.

If I will be getting diplomas and certificates then would you say my GCSE grades even matter?

Thanks for your help =] anything else you need to know tell me ^_^.

Oh, and I hope to get a job in the computing. So like, I’ll have diplomas and certificates for that ^_^.

The statements of results is the only thing you can get. Unless you had a fire or something, they never reprint your certificates and send it you. And they ask for Police reports and all this crap to prove it.

Best to claim some more certificates. Or at least try hard to find the ones you lost.
GCSE grades do matter, yes
If I were you I would pay for the statement of results, even if they are like E's and F's, it shows your employer that you don't tend to, er, lose important documents.
But seriously, I would pay for them if I were you.

If your original certificates have been lost or mislaid then you cannot claim a replacement. You must apply for a certifying statement of results from the appropriate awarding body.

There are five different recognised awarding bodies that offer general qualifications through schools or other centres in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The contact details are below:
