I'm in Year 13 and this past week has completely drained me and it's because I've slowly come to the realization that I'm not as smart as I thought I was. I've submitted my UCAS today to some top unis but I know that I'm not smart enough to get in. My teachers seem to share a belief that I'm pretty smart but I know that, even in comparison to people in my class, I'm not on a level where I can go to the Oxfords and Cambridges of the world. Today I got my first fail in one of my classes on the same day I submitted my UCAS and a feeling of regret and stupidity just fell on me. I realise I'm rambling now so I'll get to the point; has anyone felt like this, and how - if you did - get over it?

You're not stupid. Learn from the failure. Reach out to your teachers.
