low bar squat vs high bar squat Watch

Why do so many people squat low bar? I realize you involve the glutes and hamstrings more but thats all I feel even with a high bar squat. My squat numbers haven't changed for a while now (been 150kg for 2 months now). Do you think me converting will help?

I honestly can't tell if my quads or hams are more dominant.

The position is also kinda weird, is it normal to have a few sessions to adjust to the new position?
