So if you met a girl online who lives in a completely different part of the world.. say Japan.. pretty much the same age 19-20 and you really like her. Apparently, she likes you too and have some things in common, etc.

How far would you go with this 'relationship'? I'm currently just considering it as 'internet talk' as I don't want to get too involved in this kind of stuff. She asked for reciprocal webcam which I haven't accepted yet but obviously traded pictures, etc.

So what would you do? I'm not that desperate, just looking for opinions, not necessarily advice.

Well obviously

It is nothing, less than nothing. Like masturbating with oven gloves on.

What? You've not even seen her on webcam, why are you considering it a relationship? It's a relationship when you're emotionally involved with them, if you simply speak on MSN it's nothing :|

Just go with the flow'

Right, well I used the wrong word. I did put it under inverted commas as I wasn't sure of the right term.

But as I said, I don't want to get very emotionally involved. And it's actually not MSN.. anyways I phoned her lots of times as it's very cheap from here in the UK - 1p per minute.
Hmm. Be friends with her sure and whatever, but I doubt getting into a relationship is the best thing. As someone said, just go with the flow

Yeah, I don't really want to get into a relationship.

Oh and what exactly does "go with the flow" mean? I always misunderstand this expression with acting foolishly without thinking :p:.
Go with the flow.

Internet relationships are hard. They're not impossible though.
talked on MSN and passed the odd photo around and he thinks it a relationship

Go with the flow, just sort of don't try to make anything happen, just be relaxed about it all, whatever happens - happens

Right.. it's hard though because she always seems to be forcing the flow ^^.

It is a relationship. It's just a different kind of relationship.

Relationship isn't a word implying - solely - feelings of love between two people. Bullies have relationships with their victims. Doctors have relationships with their patients.

Nothing wrong with making friends online, getting to knwo them. Different countries makes friendships harder, but not impossible.
I met an ex online, her in Nottingham, me in Manchester [at the time]. I know people from the States and have met a couple of them, too.

 Ha sorry that comment just made me giggle. What do you mean?

I wouldn't have a relationship over the internet

go outside and meet someone.
Personally, I'd go as far as I could. No strings.
You have nothing to lose. Well, except for your MSN virginity...

You mean like kiddies do in chat rooms?

*snogz*
*snogz bk lol*

I'd say go for it if you're ultimately going to meet in person. There have been uncountable real relationships that have started online, but I don't think that type of cyber-relationship works.

Can you get it back by uninstalling MSN?

Well, she says things like.. I'm home alone or most of the time.. my parents are asleep (+9 hours time difference) and then "Have fixed your webcam yet?". "Nooo...". And then starts asking me sexual things.. She also wouldn't go on cam unless I go on as well so... yeah.

I love it how she sometimes changes the word order in sentences though  .

Em_mark, I have enough friends, including great looking girls; We just don't share the same personalities and don't 'click'.
