I'm a newly practising Christian and just wondering if any of you had some inspiring stories of how your life's have changed positively because if your faith.

In what ways has God touched your life?

Or answered your prayers?

How did you feel He answered your prayer?

In what profound ways did he reveal himself in your life?

since yr11 I seem to have always managed to pass my exams. I got into the sixth form of my choice, I managed to stay in that sixth form for yr13 after I somehow passed my AS exams. I somehow managed to get to university.

everytime I've been relieved and thankful.

You say all that as though you fully expected not to achieve those things?

What is it about this specifically that makes you feel it was God's will?

God has helped me through so many situations and has been with me through the good and the bad.

He helped me get through my GCSES when I felt like a lost cause at times and I ended up being more than happy with my results.

Also, I sometimes get feelings of doubt as to where I’m going in life or sometimes I feel like my world is collapsing and that I’m collapsing with it. In these times, God has never failed to show me how his love for me is boundless and unfailing and that prayer and true faith is something so important to have. Because when we put all our faith on Jesus, he takes away your burdens and everything weighing you down, lifting this gigantic weight off your shoulders, giving you a feeling of contentment and love and gratitude that you didn’t know could be found.

Because of God, I am still sane. I’d hate to even think where I could’ve been right now if he hadn’t had mercy on me and showed me the way to everlasting life. He has saved me from eternal death in hell and gives me each breath I take and gives me a new hope day by day - all things which I am not entitled to, nor deserve at all.

God has answered more and beyond all of my prayers.

I've been fortunate enough to have lots of little prayers and a few big prayers answered, though there have been many unanswered prayers and questions over the years too! I truly believe the only reason I'm still alive (despite 10 years of suffering from psychosis and 7 attempts during that time) is because of God I'm not entirely grateful for it, truth be told, but that's a different matter I suppose

I could go into detail about how I believe God intervened in my first attempt but given I know you have mental health difficulties, it's probs more prudent not to

For me he has never done anything. I've always remained hopeful and looking out for signs, but nothing has ever came and my life is as sh*t as ever

He gives me the strength to keep going.

And I appreciate it. Because nothing and no one can take that away.

He answered my prayer exactly 1y4d earlier.
On that day my city's train network (one of the best in the world) suffered its worst ever delay in its 40-year history, as a signalling fault affected four lines.
I was going to take an ABRSM exam on that day. I have already left school 30 mins earlier than the time stated for my letter (my teacher allowed me to do so), but I got a phone call from my mum saying that she had just arrived at her office after leaving home at 7:45 am. It was 10:05 am, and my exam was at 12:10 pm, so I was so worried and prayed to God while waiting for the bus to the MTR station.
In the end I got on a bus to the nearest MTR station at 10:20 am, but prayed again as I cannot make my connection to the exam centre. At last a bus to my desired district came in at 11:15 am, and I got off at 11:55 am, just making it to the exam on time.
