Can GCSE certificate be posted to me?

If I have moved, and don’t live near the school, can I be send the certificate in the post?
Yeah I think so

Yes, you might need to contact the school to give your new address.

Talk to your school - the options for distributing certificates to students depend entirely on the school. They may only be prepared to post it first class(i.e. not special delivery) or they may expect you to pay for the special delivery costs.

My school decided against posting mine to me - I had to go in and collect it & sign for it to say that I had recieved it...

They were that petty they wouldn't even post my DofE certificate to me 🙄. (I didn't even have to sign for that one).

I would have happily paid to cover the postage for both but nope...

I believe my school had an evening in November to hand them out.

They arrive in school by early November. It will then take the school a while to check tem and sort them out into an envelope per student but they should be available by December. Your school has almost certainly told you the options for receiving your certificates (e.g. a sheet with your results).
