How to not wear your heart on your sleeves

With just some small gesture of kindness and if the guy just flirts a little then I start crushing on them. That happened to me before many times and I just ended up with an one sided crush every single time. This happened to me again today but I know this guy is just a player and he pretty much flirts with every girl, and I'm trying my best to not get swayed but all I've been doing was just thinking of him. I know I need to stop this before I form a crush and then get my heart broken but I don't know how to... sorry about my rant 😔
You are half way to wisdom when you realise that the guy flirts with everyone and doesn’t mean what he says. At least you aren’t married to him with two kids and chained to an unreliable boy like that. Every time you look at him, imagine with a smile that bullet you have just dodged.
