Hi guys, we’re studying The Picture of Dorian Gray for one of our coursework texts. We’re allowed to then compare this book to one of our choosing, but I cannot find ONE BOOK OR PLAY which relates well enough to be able to write a 2,500 word essay on it.

I compared it to The Wasp Factory and got an A*
You really can choose anything as long as it’s not on the prohibited texts list.
I found that The Wasp Factory didn’t really relate to The Picture of Dorian Gray but I still found enough to write about. Remember that’s it’s a comparison essay so it’s not necessarily about finding similarities, it’s about comparing the ways that writers present a certain theme
