lets say you had a career in mind but then at the end of year 13 you decided to change, can you do another a level to help you get into that career? lets say at the end of year 13 i wanted to be an engineer which needed physics, but i did maths and further maths and biology, can i take physics after year 13 (i will be 18 turning 19) and can i do one A level in one year, and when i apply to unis, will they know i did this and do i have to retake maths and further maths again? or will they count for my A level offer?

say if i did A level physics at 2021
and i got my maths and further maths results at 2020
will they count my 2020 results with my 2021 results or will i have to take those subjects again for that year?

I highly doubt you would have to retake the other subjects (providing you meet the entry requirements of the course you want to do)

Example, if you were to retake Gcse English, you would not have retake all of your other GCSEs as well.

Lots of people do in a “gap year”, you could do an EPQ as well. You’d just state on your uni application that you did more a levels over more years, and maybe that goes in your reference too.

Can you stop bumping and show some patience.

Unis wont care. The only time it might be an issue is whether a course like medicine requires you to have sat them within a 2 year window. Not the case with engineering anc check entrance requirements of your target unis.

A level after is straightforward to the extend you can do one, but you need to decide how you will learn.
If you are self teaching, then you need to find an exam centre and pay the fee yourself.
You will also need to cover the practical endorsement.
