Being 2 years Older

I really want to go to uni in 2020 but have only just decided what I want to do since I left sixth form 2 years ago, so will be 20 years old when joining first year, 2 years older than most applicants. I'm worried this will affect my social life at uni as I really want to make friends and go out partying ect!!
Are there many older people you go to uni with and does their age bother you?
Thank you!!!!
I started a month ago, aged 18, and made 3/4 friends. I only just found at that they were all 19/20 and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever. Loads of people take gap years or do foundation years etc. There’s also some who is around 40 in our seminars but people get along with him just fine too

Not at all. Plus the average student (including postgrads) will be older than you anyway.
Their are students these days in their 30s etc so 2 years hardly makes a difference, most of the students on my course are like between 18-24 the oldest in group is a girl who is 44. So 20 is nothing
