Terrified waiting for sixth form application response

This might seem really pathetic but I applied to the sixth form I have my heart set on last Saturday and they still haven't responded, and now I'm really worried they simply don't want me haha
On their website it says they try to interview everyone within three weeks of their application being made so surely they should have responded by now to organise an interview?
I know I'm being ridiculous worrying after one week but how long does it normally take to receive a response?

Try not to worry too much. Usually sixth forms will contact you after the application deadline passes so maybe wait until then. Also, if they don’t offer you a place, you can always go and reapply on results day with your actual grades. Lots of people did that at my college and got in after being put on a waiting list.
