As the title says, i want to do graphic design and advertising and marketing along with it, if there is a joint course, i have found 2/3 courses so far. BUT the thing is, i havent got a portfolio yet, i do have one from gcses but not anything current, do you think its possible to make a portfolio in this short amount of time?

Also is any one else deciding on doing design?

You have plenty of time. Talk to your teachers about specifically delaying your application until after Christmas. That will give you extra months as well as a holiday to work on your portfolio.

I would recommend that you look into and apply directly to some foundation diploma in art & design (FAD) courses at your local colleges/universities. That would give you a backup plan if you’re not able to find a suitable degree that can take you. A FAD is accepted by all creative degrees and is designed to help you build up your portfolio.
