Universal credit and student finance

Hi. was just wondering if anyone could explain to me how the process of universal credit works when you start a Uni course and get student finance. Are you still able to claim or not? If you have children does that make a difference. Also, not saying i’m going to do this but what if you just don’t tell UC you’re studying, will they find it?

Nope.
If you have children then you may still be able to claim.

That would be benefits fraud and you would be prosecuted.
