Unrequited Love on CLassmate

I don't really know this boy but we've interacted a few times and I have a huge crush on him. I feel really stupid and when I think about him I get embarrassed. I don't even know where this crush came from, he's cute but most of the time when I think people are cute I don't do anything about it or the feeling goes away.

He is good friends with a few of my friends and is in my math class and form so I feel like it would be easy to talk to him but I get super choked up at the thought and If I did speak to him he wouldn't like me. I really like him though and I like the idea of him I have in my head but it's still super hard. I'm also a boy, and he's a boy. And I'm pretty sure he's straight. This crush isn't going to lead to a relationship but I really need to get over this. If anyone has any tips on how to get over a crush it'd be super helpful
